Call for Sponsors

A ticket to WordCamp Port Macquarie will be sold at $55, making it affordable and helping to ensure the event is accessible to more people.

In reality though, the cost of providing a single attendee with a weekend full of great speakers, food & coffee for the duration, a social event on the Saturday night, and an awesome environment to network and meet new life-long friends, costs more than the price of admission.

That’s where you come in… With fantastic sponsors like you, we can make this happen, and help each other out while doing it.

We have finalised our sponsorship prospectus, and we are inviting anyone interested in Sponsoring Wordcamp Port Macquarie 2019 to get in contact with us. We have several packages this year to match most budgets.

WordCamps are known to be one of the best value for money conferences, with packages starting as low as AUD $500 and 100+ WordPress End-Users and Developers in attendance it’s a great way to share your brand with prospective customers and future employees.

With very few technical conferences held in the surrounding area, there is big potential for untapped expertise and brand reach.

With your help, we would love to make this an annual event!

WordCamp Port Macquarie will be held at Charles Sturt University (CSU) on October 5 and 6, 2019, over the long weekend. The weekend was selected specifically to give attendees travelling longer distances a rest day before returning to work, and provides travellers the opportunity of extending their trip and enjoying a working holiday in beautiful Port Macquarie.

The first ever WordCamp Port Macquarie is happening on the 5th and 6th of October 2019 at Charles Sturt University Campus, Port Macquarie. We’ve got a date, a venue, and now we need passionate speakers who want to share their knowledge with the local community!

Tracks

There will be three tracks at WordCamp Port Macquarie. The event will include two main speaker’s tracks, with 24 presentations covering a range of topics run over the two-day event. There will also be a third Health/Well-being track that takes place outside (there will be no projector), which will focus on mental/physical health in a more relaxed outside environment.

The two main tracks will be recorded and uploaded to WordPress.tv at a later date. The Health/Well-being track will not be recorded.
